The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean it’s large and has a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with corning gorilla glass protection. It has a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and the screen is much brighter.
It has a powerful 1.6GHz Quad-core Exynos processor with the mighty 2GB of RAM, the performance is really impressive. It is 183 g in weight and 9.4mm thick and it has a new S-Pen which is fantastic & responsive.
The Galaxy Note 2 has an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, 1080p HD video recording and the camera performance is excellent. The pictures are sharp and detailed and also it has a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera for video calling.
It comes with an internal memory of 16/32/64GB, it also has a microSD slot which can be expandable upto 64GB and there is no need to remove the battery to get access to the memory card slot.
The audio is strong, it sounds much fuller and deeper and the music player app is good and clear. One of the most impressive specs of the Galaxy Note 2 is that is has an amazing 3100mAh battery and the battery life is excellent.
Some additional features include WLAN, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspost, DLNA, microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS.
Final words
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has impressive features such as good camera quality, excellent audio, expandable memory and the much better S Pen. But it is a bit too large to be used as a normal phone, but it’s great for browsing, watching videos/movies.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II is definitely big. If the S3 is already too big for my liking, the Note II is out of the question. However, if you want a tablet you can use at home that can double as a mobile phone, then this is the right phone/tablet for you.

I have till now only used Galaxy Note 1 and I must say watching a movie on Note is just an experience you cant get even on an iPad !
