It’s been two months that I started my blog and from then onwards after whole lot of hardwork (to be honest) finally this blog achieved PR3 from PR0. That’s really an awesome reward for hardwork that I have done in building my blog hopefully with good content, submitting links to blog directories, sharing on social bookmarking sites, guest commenting on other blogs etc.
Now after the 2nd august Google Page Rank update I was curious to know if my blog got any Google Page Rank. Surprisingly today when I checked my blog Page Rank, I was really happy to see that this blog got a Page Rank of 3, which is good PR in just under two months time. Hopefully I will be putting more effort to improve my Page Rank for the next Page Rank update which could be in next 3 or 4 months. You may ask why Page Rank is important. Well, Page rank is useful for your site, having a good Google page rank adds credibility to the site.
So, if you put some time and effort in writing good content consistently and implementing SEO techniques on your blog. You can easily increase your blog Page Rank, especially when you have just started and if you have a PR0 or PR1. Good new! Techalam is now commentluv enabled and you can get PR 3 backlinks as a reward for your comments (but please “Do Not Spam”).
Here are some tips to improve Page Rank:
• Do more commenting on blogs related to your blog niche.
• Share blog posts on social bookmarking sites.
• Submit your blog to blog directories.
• Implement proper SEO techniques.
• Do internal linking effectively.
• Submit sitemap to Google.

My advice will be to do internal linking, try to get high quality external links and to comment on other niche related blogs.
If not unable to comments on niche related blogs, then what will be affect on the website? Kindly give me Indian financial niche related blog websites If you know?I am commenting blogs in general with decent PR ,so does it affects my website health.

Well, Commenting on relevant niche blogs is better and effective, as people might be interested to click on your link to visit your blog, as they find it relevant to their blog niche. And on the other hand, comenting on non-releant niche blogs, is not much effective and also it does not yields good results, as usually people will not show much interest to click your link to visit your blog, as they don’t find your blog relevant to what they are interested in. This does not mean not to comment on non-relevant niche blogs, but it’s better to mostly comment on blogs that are relevant niche blogs, as it yields good results. So, commenting on non-relevant niche blogs doesn’t affect your site/blog.

Here are some tips to improve PR before the next PR update expected to be in Oct/Nov.
1. Do internal linking effectively.
2. Try to get quality external links.

Google PR update takes places once in every 3 months. Now it has updated in august and next it would be updated in oct/nov. Thanks

Well, it depends on time and effort one is willing to put in for optimizing the blog/site. The optimization process includes proper SEO techniques , effective site design, easy site navigation and good site loading speed, backlinks etc. The more effective SEO the more the website can be optimized. Hope you got it !
@mohit You can take an example of Nizam; in just 4 months he got pr3 for his site so it all depends on your efforts.

No, there is no official update from Google, but as far as I know it may be in the coming week.
